I have a Boppy and a travel Boppy.
I think the Boppy is great now, but for early nursing, it was too soft to get LO positioned right. I used a My Brest Friend at a lactation consultant's place, and it was sooo much easier with a floppy newborn. Now, at 7 months, I love the Boppy and use it regularly.
The travel Boppy is convenient for on-the-go, but I think it's too unstructured (and a bit small) for "perfect" nursing.

I have a boppy and a my breast friend. The breast friend was definitely best for the first couple weeks when she was tiny and floppy. Now I use the boppy sometimes but most of the time I just hold her. I would go for the boppy because you can use that around the house in addition to just for feeding.

I have My Brest Friend upstairs and the Boppy downstairs. Love them both. MBF was great in the beginning and I preferred it over the Boppy. But like @mamamoose said, the Boppy got easier as LO got older. I like the Boppy better for traveling too.

Gia! Gia! It's a good compromise between the MBF and Boppy. You don't have to hunch like with the Boppy and you don't have to strap it to you like the Best Friend.

I love my Boppy. My DH calls it a 4/4 because it reminds him of a tutu but bigger.. lol

I used a Luna Lullaby Bosom Baby pillow for the first month and then a Mr Brest Friend for the second month. I completely stopped using nursing pillows completely after two months.

@BeachMama: Same here. The back support was a pain. I much prefer my Boppy.
