I think that there is sometimes a bias towards both status' so posters may be more apt to dismiss someone's post if they have that information up front. Or maybe that's crazy?

Great idea, I love it! I actually just learned while reading this post that you can figure that out with a mouseover! Awesome!

Oh well than I think it's good if it's optional! I didn't know how to mouseover to see the other status' until Mrsbrewer just said it! Neat!

Wow I didnt know you could just mouseover to find out someones TTC status, I think thats great!! I like the work status idea too.

I wish we could have the option to have a signature under our posts or something that shows how far along we are too.

@mrbee: duh, brain fart. i blame pregnancy. i was thinking, you were working out of the home (which to me is the same as working AT home).... i wasn't thinking of working outside the home. lol.

Its not a "bad" idea, but I think knowing about what children you have and their ages would be MUCH more helpful.

@Thehistoryofus: 3rded-- since this is a parenting site, I think info about you as a parent is more valuable than your work status.
