@username replies will send out an email, so please don't abuse this. If it's abused, then we'll have to turn off the feature until we can program in some protections...

very cool! thanks! just curious though, how would you "abuse" it? i'd figure the old way was more "abusing" it because one person would respond like 5 responses to 5 different people.

@looch: It's the same reply link as before! But now you can more easily @reply to multiple people in a single post.

Is there a secret trick to use this feature properly? 'Cause I'm having trouble 
I've tried a couple times and each time I've tried to @reply to the second poster, the post box clears what I've already typed to the first @reply I did, and it starts over with the second name that I @replied to. Frustrating. I tried the compatibility button at the top for shits and giggles, but that didn't make a difference.
Suggestions?

@mrbee: I click the reply button for you, and your name comes up just fine. But when I'm ready to reply to say, Chopsuey next (in this same post, and I just tried it, and got the same results I've been getting) I'll click on the reply button for her, and the screen jumps a little as everything in the text box completely clears (all the words are gone) and the only thing left in the box is the @reply for Chopsuey, as if I'd never typed an @reply to you, or any other words.
Fwiw, I'm using IE9/Windows 7.
ETA: I'd like it to work like it seems to for everyone else, lol.

@Wondermommy: the same thing is happening to me this morning on IE but i think it used to work. or maybe it just used to work on Safari?
