@Tionn3: hope this is your month, lady!
@madisonbee: thanks for doing that

@snarkybiochemist: I'm terrible with blood work. Luckily I had my TSH panel done in August, and also I finally for once in my life accepted the STD panel at my physical ( it had ALL the things). I'm hoping since it was within the last year they won't have to draw them again. My DH will definitely have to do the STD panel, something about it being required by law for anything involving Semen being deposited via IUI.
I hate doctor appointments.

@Tionn3: Yes husbands panel was in large part STDs and this was even while we were still doing just medicated cycles, and we just got insurance clearance for genetic testing. Unfortunately my experience seeing an RE is that at least 1 vial of blood is taken at every visit to check your hormone levels

@snarkybiochemist: as long as it is under 6 I'm ok. Anything more than that I have to be supine. I'll be 7/8DPO on my initial consult so maybe I'll at least be able to get my progesterone checked out. I don't think I'll actually be able to do any of the other hormone tests until CD3 on Cycle 11.

@Tionn3: Unfortunately for a baseline its CD2-4, they might be interested in checking progesterone to confirm ovulation. I really hope that you end up not needing anything else and that this is your cycle. Seeing a RE is hard and so is trying for so long and not getting pregnant

Ladies, I am freaking out. I may have a shadow of a line on a pregnancy test and I so hope my eyes are playing tricks on me. With the left sided pain and brown spotting it is way too similar to my ectopic.

@mrskansas: Umm, you can't say that and not post a pic. Maybe another set of eyes?
nectarine / 2813 posts
@madisonbee: well now I see nothing. Thank goodness, I was panicking lol
grapefruit / 4089 posts
@mrskansas: Omg you need to catch a break! Do you have a picture?
Edit: just saw your update. Hope it was just line eye / a shadow or something!
nectarine / 2813 posts
@Synchronicity: @madisonbee: yeah I think I am just soo paranoid now. Ugh. But I am so relieved that my eyes were playing tricks on me!!

So my OPK this evening was lighter again... Similar to the one I got this morning. My 12:30 one was the darkest, so close to positive but I'm not sure it was quite there. Sigh. I was really hoping for a true positive tonight so I could move on!

@mrskansas: Stalking this thread because I love you ladies and I sorta want to see this test....
nectarine / 2813 posts
@Synchronicity: I went back and looked at the picture you posted and it looks just like the positive OPKs I've gotten previously. I conceived each cycle where mine looked exactly like yours.
It's possible that your evening urine was too diluted or you have a short surge. Definitely BD over the next few days and keep testing though

@Synchronicity: same here. My afternoon OPK was a bust. I guess we can just try and move on? Try? Maybe? Eh? Eh?
@mrskansas: stark white to me. Toss it!
nectarine / 2813 posts
@Synchronicity: I found the picture of my OPK. This was the only positive I got and I did conceive
grapefruit / 4089 posts
@madisonbee: I vote try! Haha
@mrskansas: thank you! I'm calling it "positive" and moving on, lol. I don't see a line in your test. Hope your ultrasound confirms that all is well tomorrow!!
nectarine / 2813 posts
So glad you guys see nothing. I don't either now of course.
I'll update after my ultrasound tomorrow. Hopefully all they see is a corpus luteum & a thickened uterine lining!

I peed on one more. Can't stop won't stop. I'm calling today a positive OPK day because I need some optimism in my life, dammit It looked darker at the 5 minute mark but it's been sitting for an hour now.
pear / 1677 posts
@Synchronicity: Good enough for me! Lol. I'm over here claiming I'm 1DPO. That's my optimism
grapefruit / 4089 posts
@madisonbee: @mrskansas: I definitely got a true positive this morning, test line is actually darker than the control. Whatever, we will just keep BDing away over here, forever!
nectarine / 2813 posts
@Synchronicity: only a few more days! and then you're in the lovely TWW!

My ultrasound is at 1:40 today and I just want it to be here already. I have a feeling they aren't going to see anything and I'm going to feel like an idiot, but oh well.
I *think* that the spotting has mostly stopped and I have occasional aches on my left side, but nothing like on Sunday.
grapefruit / 4089 posts
@mrskansas: we can do it! Haha. Please don't feel like an idiot regardless! With your recent history it is so much better to be safe and get checked out.
pomegranate / 3212 posts
@mrskansas: I'm thinking of you and will send extra good thoughts at 1:40.
pear / 1677 posts
@Synchronicity: yay!!!
@mrskansas: I'll be thinking of you today. And don't feel like an idiot--your recent history validates this and you're taking care of yourself.

@Synchronicity: @knittylady: @madisonbee:
Thank you ladies. I don't know why I feel so nervous about the appointment when it's just an ultrasound.
grapefruit / 4089 posts
@mrskansas: I get a little nervous before every doctors appointment! Totally normal.
nectarine / 2180 posts
@mrskansas: Good luck at the appt, I hope you are able to get some answers
I am in a weird place I'm CD9 and my boobs are killing me but I have sticky CM so I'm not close to ovulating and I don't want to start OPKs to early b/c looking at lines drives me nuts
grapefruit / 4089 posts
@snarkybiochemist: I started too early with the OPKs and it sucked! Never again.
nectarine / 2180 posts
@Synchronicity: I'm thinking of holding out until CD12 given the fact that unmedicated I can O anywhere from CD17-CD25 and medicated I O right at CD 14. This should give me time to catch it if I have hold over hormones but not drive me too nuts if its longer
grapefruit / 4089 posts
@snarkybiochemist: that sounds like a good plan! Is this cycle medicated or unmedicated for you?
grapefruit / 4089 posts
@snarkybiochemist: sorry, just went back to your intro post. Unmedicated.
