What're you looking forward to this month?: My husband and I are traveling in Ireland the second half of February, and I'm supposed to start my period while we're there. A small part of me is dreaming that it won't come, and we'll learn good news while we're in one of our favorite places!

What're you looking forward to this month?: We are doing our 2nd medicated IUI this cycle. Praying hard and crossing my fingers this is it. I'm tired and we are so ready to have our first little one. Also looking forward to the Super Bowl, Go Eagles! DH and I always plan to do some fun activity for Valentine's Day so I'm looking forward to that. Would love to celebrate with a BFP! Good luck everyone!

What're you looking forward to this month?: what my husband comes up with for valentines day is always interesting. (We don't really celebrate because I don't like valentine's day but he usually gets guilted into doing something by his work buddies )
We're also headed to the Phoenix open next week which is quite the people watching experience apparently

I'm in my fertile week and totally tmi but so much cm! I don't remember this at all from before I had my little. Whenever I change my panties I tell myself well at least the spermies have got good stuff to swim in

Looking forward to buying a new W/D! Have been procrastinating but with the ridiculous new tariff I’m going to do it maybe this weekend.

Thanks for starting the thread, I kept contemplating it, but with my POAS so early I wasn't sure if I'd be able to keep it up no matter the outcome.

POAS Date: 2/2

What're you looking forward to this month?: We're going out to Park City, UT for some skiing and R&R in the middle of the month without DS. If this isn't our month, it'll be a nice distraction for the pre-o wait. And if this is our month, I'll still be early enough to get some skiing in.

What're you looking forward to this month?: Looking forward to trying some new vitamins to get my cycles on track and hopefully get a BFP soon. We've had 3 pregnancy announcements in my family within a couple months. I also meet with my OB on the 2nd to find out what plan to start once I am pregnant (high risk with MTHFR gene mutation).
I'm hoping and praying this month will be filled with BFP's!!

What're you looking forward to: started vitex, so hoping to have early success again. I used it to get pregnant with my third. I’ve had two pp periods, and already feel my endometriosis causing issues, so really want to get pregnant pretty quickly. My dd just weaned but dd is still nursing, so we will see if that causes issues

I've not even ovulated yet but just feeling like this month it won't happen either. I just figured out my husband will be gone the day my period is due and thinking about dealing with not being pregnant again with just my 2 year old here is crazy depressing

@MamaBear87: Try not to get too down on yourself. You'll feel better once you ovulate, the waiting is the hardest part and plays horrible mind tricks. Sending you lots of love and hope

@MrsMom: usually im good with the pre o waiting. After is worse thanks for the good vibes. Same to you!
kiwi / 568 posts
@MamaBear87: I'm a mess with the Pre O waiting! I just want it to happen so I can have some sort of vibes in the TWW. This is my first time with this TTC using OPK's so i'm anxious. My last pregnancy I didn't O on my own and had to use Clomid, i'm trying to avoid that this time around.
nectarine / 2288 posts
@MrsMom: i was losing my mind because we got lucky the first time and got pregnant on the first try so this is new to me. I still freak out that something is wrong. I got an ava bracelet and seeing my temp follow a normal pattern has been reassuring. Opks were too stressful for me
kiwi / 568 posts
@MamaBear87: How long have you been using the Ava bracelet? I'm trying to just use opk's right now but if this cycle is inconclusive then i'll start temping as well. DH already laughs that I do the opk's so if i start temping he's really going to think i'm nuts. If they only knew what we feel. haha He's so laid back about everything.

Not really looking forward to anything specific. Husband is travelling for work 3 weeks out of 4 so will be looking forward to having him home. His work travel is likely going to affect timing for the month (or at least my timing ideas), so we will aim for CD 11/13/15/17 and hope it's good enough on a 26-27 day cycle!
good luck to all

@MamaBear87: Makes sense, I just don't know if i could sleep with something on my wrist. Is it fairly light?

@yogifish: Wow that must be hard having DH gone like that, hopefully the timing will be in your favor.

For those of you using opk's, what time of the day do you test and do you test multiple times a day? It's been so long since i had to do this that I've forgotten all the tricks
cherry / 128 posts
@MrsMom: This is the first time he's ever had to travel for work as he just got a new job right before Christmas...you know just as we were gearing up to start trying for baby #2. Our timing the first cycle was great because it was over Christmas vacation and we were both off but I was so sick I think maybe fever might've affected ovulation and/or implantation. And now knowing he's travelling for work so much (at least initially) I am losing my bananas that we won't get pregnant haha. Can you tell I got pregnant very quickly with our first?!
apricot / 301 posts
@MrsMom: I use cheapos from early-pregnancy-tests.com and, when I have them, Clear Blue Advanced. I test using both with FMU and then with cheapos in the early evening when I get home from work, in case I see a surge (I've noticed I sometimes surge during the day, and it'll be darker by evening than it was in the a.m.). That's just my method!
apricot / 301 posts
@yogifish: I can relate to the travel issues. My husband traveled so much in 2016, I don't think we ever caught the correct window. I seem to always O during the week, and he'd only be home on weekends. Agh!

@MrsMom: it bugged me the first 3 nights and then I still noticed it for another week. Now I hardly notice it at all. It's super light. You can also wear just the sensor under a sweatband if the strap ends up bugging you

@yogifish: i got preggo month 1 with our little and now here we are on month 5 so I feel you. All the waiting, especially as a sahm, is making me insane!

We have quite the testing cluster mid February! Fingers crossed for tons of this month!

@afc061018: I don't know how you didn't lose it! As soon as he gets new travel dates and sends them to me my first thought is where do these dates fall on the ttc calendar lol?!
I guess I'm also a little mad at myself as I was so insistent on waiting to start trying for #2 for a very specific age gap and season of birthday and now in hindsight I'm kicking myself for it. Oh well.
Fingers crossed we'll both get pregnant this cycle!
cherry / 128 posts
@MamaBear87: Yeah the waiting is terrible. I am a control freak so I don't even find work distracting. I'm pretty sure I was equally as crazy when we were trying for our first too.
nectarine / 2288 posts
@yogifish: hopefully you get a positive this month! We went back and forth on trying this month because it will give us a second October baby and our anniversary is October too. I finally decided to try because I feel the worst timing will be when it happens
cherry / 128 posts
@MamaBear87: LOL this is my future dilemma as well if this month doesn't work as my little guy is early December. But I figure we're started now so oh well.
