@snowjewelz: I wish I was regular! Sometimes I am on time, usually it starts a day or two before the date on my tracker and then to really mess with me it has shown up a week late.

@HolisticMama: After AF, I usually have 1 day of sticky CM with spotting, then 1-2 days of creamy CM with spotting, and then have CCM until it turns watery and then to EWCM (usually about 5-6 days before O). At/after O, I have a couple of dry days, and then have CCM until the end of the cycle.

CM is all hormones-based, so which type you have at which point in your cycle is based on how your hormone levels are and when you switch from estrogen-domination to progesterone-domination. There are some really interesting charts that show the shift on FF if you are interested.

I'm worried that I'm experiencing ovulation pains at the moment and Hubs and I haven't even DTD this cycle... boo...

@katieleigh_82: sorry about AF honey! Enjoy your purse and some good self nurturing. Get that egg ready for next months BFP!

@Adira: sorry last night was a no go. I feel your pain. My husband and I were so tired when I landed that we decided to hit it this morning instead of last night. I get it. Glad you may have a chance today though. fX that egg hangs out till you and hubs DTD!

@cyndistar3: you aren't put yet! fX!

@septca: glad you're staying sane this month. I am kind of in your same boat thinking this cycle will be a bust for me with timing issues and not sure when I am going I ovulate.

My CM has been all over the map and CD17 I usually get a peak on my monitor but just a high today. I think stress from traveling along with nursing more to sooth my son may have delayed my O. I would be fine with a slight delay but I hope I will at least ovulate this cycle at some point. I also hope I can have a normal luteal phase. We shall see. I am not feeling optimistic I about this month at all. Just praying for a somewhat normal cycle and a few shots at a baby.

@HolisticMama: glad to see you back on here and glad you got a little rest. That's important. As I said my husband is too shy for the porn as well. He likes when I wear lingerie though. Every guy has his thing I guess.

@MrsMccarthy: It's also totally possible I'm imagining things re: ovulation pains. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tonight though!

Hopefully your ovulation WAS delayed a bit so you can get some good BDing in now that you're home! And I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you have a longer LP this time around (and me too)!!!

@Adira: yes! Lets me long LP twins! Then BFp twins!

Huge temperature spike today--- officially in the TWW.!!! Interestingly enough--- my smiley face opk suggests that I BD on the day of smiley face and two days after. Question for you ladies: is a pregnancy possible after you get a temperature spike? If not, than in the future I only have one day to BD when I get a smiley face. Regardless, this is the most perfect cycle I have had with well time BD'ing-- let's see how lucky I am this month!!

We are thinking about getting DH sperm tested if this doesn't work, what doctor would he go to? Can a urologist do sperm testing-- we really don't want to do the infertility specialist thing after only 3 months.

@Lady Hibiscus: How do you only have one day to BD after getting a smiley face? It's the days leading up that matter almost more! Is that why you're interested in a sperm analysis?

  11. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@Lady Hibiscus: The temp spike shows that you have ovulated, although I'm not sure how long after ovulation you usually see a spoke. Once you ovulate, your egg only stays around for like 12 hours or something, so it's more important to BD leading up to ovulation since sperm can last a lot longer than the egg will!

ETA: I think usually when you see the temp spike, it's too late to BD and have it be useful, though depending on when you ovulated the day before, it's still possible the egg is there, so it doesn't hurt to BD one more time!

  12. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@Lady Hibiscus: you should have anywhere from 10-48 hours is I believe the OPK ovulation standard. I would cover your bases and bd a couple more times if you can. Especially if you haven't sustained your temp spike. It has to sty up three full days.

I totally having karmic retribution for my ting post.t hubs couldn't stay in theirs for morning bd. only second time in five years and last time he was drunk. He says he just isn't a morning guy and its true we rarely do mornings. Almost never. We are gonna give it a whirl early this eve. Probably fine since I got an almost stark white OPK and have a feeling my body won't O for a few days if at all this cycle. Sorry for all the negativity o just feel really tired and over it right now. I hope the rest of you are doing better.

Officially a rollover. AF made her unwelcome appearance this morning.
Oh, well! A new cycle means a fresh start. I will definitely be cheering for the rest of you ladies throughout the end of February. Lots of POASing left to do! Bring on the BFPs!

    @eabae:Boo:-(. A fresh start-what a good attitude to have.

@MrsMccarthy: I need to BD next week during the morning based on when I think I'll O and an out-of-town trip if I'm to have any shot at all this month. We haven't had a weekday morning BD in...uhhh...a while. Weekends are different. I'll have to strategize accordingly!

@septca: BOO to sick DH. I'm also swamped at work. It sure does make the TTC process easier to keep off my mind, but then I miss you ladies like mad.

@MrsMccarthy: I am really really crossing my fingers for a normal LP for you! I wonder if some sunflower seeds and sesame seeds would help. I don't see how they could hurt.

DH and I were like 2 years into our marriage before he basically told me that lingerie was almost a prerequisite for him to be turned on. Duh. I wish he told me sooner. -_-

@eabae: Boo to AF. How is she treating you? I agree with chocolate hearts AND a big glass of pinot noir!

So...I totally didn't know DH's schedule until I wanted to start BDing in the morning. Apparently he has stuff to do every Monday and Wednesday morning. Whoops. Who knew? Not me apparently.

@HolisticMama: My temp went up today, but I worked last night which means my sleep today was very broken and short. My temps are usually a bit higher on days I sleep during the day. I will find out what it is really doing in the morning!

What does this look like? I feel crazy but I feel like there's a shadow of a something there...

@cyndistar3: I see... something? Can't tell if there's color to it at all. Did it appear in the time window? Fingers REALLY crossed!

  28. cyndistar3

    pomegranate / 3980 posts

@Torchwood: it was within 5 minutes?

  29. Torchwood

    pomelo / 5607 posts

@cyndistar3: That's a good sign! I don't think an evap would happen anywhere close to that fast. I always worry about being too encouraging in case it gives false hope, but I feel like if there's something there that's dark enough to show up on a picture, it's a genuine positive. My bfps on wondfos this cycle didn't get dark enough for pictures till days after I was certain I was seeing real positives. So, somewhat hesitantly, I'm saying congratulations!

  30. LBee

    pomegranate / 3895 posts

@cyndistar3: I see something too. I didn't at first, but the longer I stared at it the more I started to see something where a line should be. I suggest trying again tomorrow morning with FMU.

@Torchwood: I hate being so dang impatient! I knew I should have waited a few days lol...

  32. Torchwood

    pomelo / 5607 posts

@cyndistar3: Ha ha, I know that feeling! I hated being pretty sure I was pregnant, but not 100%. And I couldn't show DH the tests because I knew he wouldn't it. (I was right too, because when I finally got one dark enough I felt like it was safe to show him, he couldn't see it. And at that point I was beyond certain.) Can't wait to see a strong positive from you soon!

  33. Torchwood

@cyndistar3: Oh, and what dpo are you, if you know?

  34. Radish

    nectarine / 2079 posts

@cyndistar3: Hmm, I'm not seeing it, but I know sometimes they just do not photograph well and different screens show it differently. I seriously just stared at pictures of mine from 2012 and my first one was almost impossible to see in a picture. Hope this is it for you!!

  35. cyndistar3

    pomegranate / 3980 posts

    @Torchwood: thank you and 10- 13 I suppose not 100% sure though.

  36. Torchwood

    pomelo / 5607 posts

@cyndistar3: Well, 10 was when I got my first one that was so absurdly light that I can't believe I called it positive, and it was a few days before I got anything definite. So I call that promising!
