@Radish: hahah that one I get! If I weren't as old as the hills I might go that route too, but time she's awastin! We got pregnant on the first try too but weren't really trying. I think I was kind of amAzed when it didn't happen like clockwork again but now I have a much more realistic approach. Doesn't mean it still won't blow if I not KU this month but I am not expecting it that much this time. Pregnacy can change our hormones a bit too even if you aren't still nursing like I am. Are your cycles pretty much the same as before? How long have you had a cycle?

@MrsMccarthy: Nope. Of the 4 cycles I have had, I have ovulated a week late for 3 of them. I have never been on birth control, though, so I had a while to get to know my cycle prior to TTC the first time. I have also been nursing, but LO is almost weaned.

There will be so much wine consumed in my house tonight. I just found out that I got passed over for a big promotion. For the second time in 9 months. Wait. Make that whiskey. There will be much whiskey consumed in my house tonight. Thank god tomorrow is a snow day and I'm too early in the TWW to care about alcohol.

Okay, gals, I SURVIVED! First ever full Brazilian has been had. (I used to get what they called an "In-betweenie" at my old place.) It hurt like crap and I am REALLY glad I changed my appointment to a day earlier so I can rest before it's BD time!
@septca: at the risk of taking it to a new level, even for HB, I literally thought of you during it! The lady was instructing me to breathe in deeply and on my exhale she'd pull the wax off....and I kept thinking of your labor breathing practice!!!

@mfa_lady: awwwwww - I'm touched! So glad you survived! And - yes - you need a day to rest after that. You'll be tender tomorrow. I have friends who swear that Brazillians hurt worse than childbirth. I say they must have had *some* epidural!!!

Okay ladies I need your advice! Last night husband and I BD for the first time this month. I work up with some good EWCM and got these OPKS (two are from the AM and one is from afternoon). Should I push for BD tonight as well or can we wait till tomorrow. My monitor gave me another high when I was expecting a peak. The original plan was to go EOD till peak then do both peak days and the day following!!! Do these OPK look positive? I feel like they are close but not quite.

@MrsMccarthy: I don't think they are quite positive yet, but look close! If you BD tonight, will you be up for it tomorrow? I think tomorrow might be the more important time, so if tonight would make that difficult to happen, I wouldn't. If I could still BD tomorrow, I totally would to get some extra spermies in there.
@mfa_lady: Was it bad? I usually take some advil and they don't really bug me all that much.

@Crystal: It was pretty bad. BUT, it's been ages since I got a wax and had never done the full monty before. Also, (COMPLETE TMI) she told me that I had "deep roots." UGH. I'm sure you can imagine why she was telling me that. But, I survived!
And hopefully will be ready to BD tomorrow night or Friday morning!

Tested at 5pm after a 4 hour old (which was PAINFUL) and urine was diluted from drinking a bunch at school! What do you think?

Now that I look they are close but not quite there and I'd rather rest tonight and cover tomorrow and maybe a few days in a row including Valentines day! Valentines day sex is much more fun and I don't want to spend it. Feeling good because I feel like I am actually going to O this month. Now prying for a BFP or at least a decent luteal phase.

@snowjewelz: I think I was just bummed because I have been trying really hard to actually be pretty chill during my cycle...trying to go with the flow and be accepting of my hormone shifts.
@Crystal: Yeah. I'm not even at an emotional point in my cycle and I got all quiet and sad. It was...sad. I wish that everyone had tickers under their name or something just so I could see where everyone was on their cycle. What CD are you now?

My husband and I just spent some time looking at my transitional saliva ferning. It was fun, because we both thought it was really really cool.
We'll take anything that will help us pinpoint our "sexy window," which I sang to him in a song.
I'm loving my $5 dollar microscope. It's working surprisingly great.
And hopefully will be ready to BD tomorrow night or Friday morning!
