Everyday, our daycare uses masking tape on the bottles to label it with the date.

Tonight, while I'm cleaning bottles, there is a piece of tape on one of our bottles and the name "Rory" which is a different girl in LOs infant room.

I'm hyper sensitive about anything and everything breastmilk and breastfeeding related, and I'm freaking out over here thinking that my precious breastmilk that only accounts for 50% of my LOs intake each day that I have to sit and pump for over 2 hours of my day, every single day, not only didn't make it into my LOs mouth, it possibly got fed to a kid that isn't mine.

And it is Friday, and I can't get my questions answered until Monday morning.

This isn't the first foul up daycare has made in terms of our feeding plan. I get that our situation is kind of confusing in that I want her to have both breastmilk and formula at every feeding, and I want her to eat the breastmilk separately out of one bottle, and drink the formula after from a different bottle. I do that because I want to make sure she finishes the breastmilk. If she doesn't want to drink all her formula, that is okay. But I don't want a single drop of my breastmilk being poured down the drain.

But don't tell me over and over again "Oh don't worry. We are just an extension of you. However you want us to feed your daughter is perfectly fine. We will do anything you need." And then not be able to follow my instructions!

If no one can understand the feeding plan, why do they force me to fill one out every single month?! And why doesn't anyone ask me if they are confused?

Argh.

P.S. Ordering a new set of labels for our bottles so there is no confusion as to who it belongs to!

Hands off, Rory!
