Would this bother you, if you daycare fed your baby in a swing? BY that I mean they have her in the swing and the swing is in motion and they have the bottle propped in her mouth. I;ve seen my daycare do this to other babies but I never commented because I thought maybe the parents requested but yesterday i saw my baby in a swing with a bottle in her mouth and I didnt like it. Although she seemd content, I could also see her struggling to keep the bottle in her mouth with the swinging motion. I didnt make a comment on it, I just took her out and fed her myself but is this a normal thing? Should I just be okay with it? Or should I say something

@MsLipGloss: @hilsy85 OK so I;m not the only one then! Its weird because someone was sitting in front of the swing and kept pushing the swing to keep it going, so why wouldnt that person just hold her and feed her? And it actually seemed like more effort for that person to keep pushing the swing

I wouldn't be a fan. Sometimes I feed her in the rock'n'play, but not while it's moving. There is no way I'd be okay with somebody feeding her while she was in a swing moving.

I'd actually be livid. My son has acid reflux so feeding in a swing with motion and recline would cause him to puke, badly. And it is just super lazy. I consider feedings a time when baby has the opportunity to be held:)

That would bother me. The ladies at my daycare know I want them holding M to feed her and am not "teaching" her how to hold her own bottle. I would NOT be okay with that!!

@TurtleDoves: This exactly. If my LO is jostled at all while eating or shortly after she will puke big time! The swing is a no go in our household until at least 30 minutes after meals.

Whoa, I would be pissed. Babies shouldn't be eating and swinging around. I have seen my LO being sat in a bouncer to eat but it was not moving and this was only when she could hold her own bottle. I was fine with that because I was happy she could hold the bottle herself.

I would worry about LO spitting up.. if it bothers you, definitely say something. I would also say something to the director.

It would annoy me too! I've given my LO a bottle when she was in a swing but it was turned OFF and not in motion.

That would definitely bother me. DH used to give LO her bottles in her bouncy seat, but that's b/c she wouldn't take a bottle in his arms (she associated being held w/boob, and wouldn't eat).

I thought that propping a bottle in general is a no-no. I would not be ok with that.
