More FTM questions for you wise ladies!

LO is 8 months and so far has shown very little/no interest in self-feeding, but loves eating. He'll play with food but doesn't attempt to put it into his own mouth and if I help guide him, he mostly gets angry and just wants me to do it for him.

I've started giving him finger foods but because he doesn't want/know how to feed himself, he'll just eat right out of my hand. He seems to love anything I give him, which is great.

-Is it okay to be feeding him finger foods like this, when he can't feed them to himself? Will he eventually just pick something up and put it in his mouth?

-How do I know how much to give him per meal? I've been feeding solids 3 times a day. Should I be giving snacks in between too? With purees, I found it easy to know how much to give and know if he had enough, but with the little bits of food, I'm having trouble telling if it's enough or if I should be giving more.

-Should I still be giving purees in addition to the finger foods?

-Any recommendations for things to give him? Is it okay to just be giving one food at a time (for instance, last night for "dinner" he had pieces of broccoli), or should I be giving a protein/veg/fruit at every meal? I'm confused between the "food before 1 is just for fun" and worrying if he's getting the right balance/enough food!

THANK YOU!!
