this question is twofold:
we've been doing ferber with my son (who is almost 7 months) for about 4 weeks now, and it hasn't really "stuck" with him yet. some nights he'll go to sleep within 5 minutes, and some nights he'll need to have 3-4 checks. what gives there?

that being said he does stay asleep relatively well - up until recently. he used to sleep until 630ish pre ferber and early on into ferberizing, but now he's waking up consistently between 430 and 530.

addnt'l info: he takes 2-3 naps per day (anywhere from half hour to 1.5hr each), has started solids, and still does 30ish oz of formula per day.
is he waking up so early bc he's hungry? he stopped needing a nighttime/early feeding around 4 months, so why or how could he be needing one now - especially starting solids? if not, what can i do to break the cycle?
