What does it mean for your baby to "find" his/her hands?
LO folds his hands constantly and seems to be using them more - but I can't tell if he knows what they do and he's not sucking on them yet.
Is it really obvious when they find their hands?

Dude, you are asking all of the questions I have been thinking lately tonight! When M spits out her paci, sometimes she will find her hands to suck on but I don't think it's intentional yet.

I considered Sawyer to have "found" his hands, when he started looking at them and watching how they worked (he held/holds them in front of his eyes and watches the motion as he opens and closes them).

My LO has started to use his hands to try and push his wubbanub back in his mouth. He's a paci boy. He also tries and grab at toys or his burp cloth.

Penny has found her hands in the sense that she now can put them right in her mouth. But, I kid you not, we have pictures of her hours after birth and her hands always went right to her mouth for sucking. I'm not sure she "found" them like @MsMini: said Sawyer has!

Sawyer is 13 weeks, he found his hands about a month ago give or take.

@bpcmarj: Tyler literally sucked his thumb within 2 mins of delivery! But lost interest. I don't think he has found them yet!

@winniebee: I bet he'll find them again soon! When I unswaddle Penny in the a.m. her hands just go right to her mouth!
