@renee: have you used something like fertility friend to chart your bbt? I found it helpful when I was temping.
cherry / 181 posts
@ninja: Yep, I'm using Kindara and Fertility Friend (figuring out which one I like better). I like the interface of Kindara better than FF, but FF seems like it has a lot more going for it as a program, although I'm hesitant to spend money to upgrade to VIP. Congrats on your BFP btw

@renee: thanks! Your temps are probably just fine. I would always get a lot of watery CM before EWCM. It not unheard of to ovulate late if you have longer cycles too! When TTC my first, my cycles were about 32 days, and I would usually ovulate around CD 19.

@renee: oh, and as far as VIP, I got it last time and got a bfp the next cycle. I felt gyped that I had paid for a whole year!

@ninja: Haha that's my fear! I might wait a couple of months…Who knows, I might be lucky this month! I've been chart stalking for like an hour and it seems like longer cycles are a lot more common than I thought.
cherry / 125 posts
@renee: I had the CM you talked about for what seemed like forever as well. I also ovulated later than I thought I should have this month
@loki: welcome!
I am officially in the TWW as of tomorrow. I'm not feeling super duper hopeful about this cycle as we didn't get to BD as often as I'd like, but with a toddler that doesn't sleep at night its hard! We managed to BD 4 days before O and the day of. Luckily i'll be away this weekend and most of next week to take my mind off it! With my first I started getting the slightest positive BFP if you squinted haha so I will still test on the 18th, I will be 10DPO.

So guys, I tested early yesterday (cd 11) and got a negative on a FRER. I was pretty discouraged, but told myself it's early still and not to worry too much.
Today, just for fun I used a Babi OPK and got a faint line. I have no experience w/ using an OPK to detect pregnancy and I know it's not like, a thing people should rely on. However, should I put any hope in this possibly turning darker and thus, ending up w/ a BFP? I want to avoid testing with a HPT for a few more days since FRERs are so expensive.

@meredithNYC: I tested with a Babi opk last month too and got a light line. I've read that towards AF your body starts producing more hormones so that might be what the opk is picking up. That's NOT to say you don't still have a chance! Because you totally do!!
hostess / papaya / 10219 posts
@meredithNYC: My understanding about OPKs is that you can have a faint line at any point in your cycle, so unless it is as dark as the control it basically means nothing. That said, I never even had a positive OPK when I was pregnant until I was about 6 weeks. For some reason it just didn't pick up my pregnancy hormones. They aren't reliable as a pregnancy test.
I don't think you are out though. 11DPO is pretty early. Lots of people don't get a positive until around 14 DPO...

AF is such a witch. When you don't want her, she's there early. When you do, she refuses to come. C'mon, AF! I'm ready!!

Don't think I have ovulated yet - maybe today?? Yesterday evening my OPK test line was not quite as dark as the control. This morning my temp was only up 0.2 degrees, not really a spike yet. My nipples are still super super sore. The last 2 days I've had some EWCM. So... I'm thinking really soon, right?!?!
Once I know about when I O I can update my POAS date.

@KelLeeLeee: You can take me off the list. No AF yet but still negative tests and temps are still down. It's definitely an anovulatory cycle. Off to contact the RE.
Good luck to everyone!! Let's make July the best month yet!!

I think I'm going to test on Monday (the 14th) maybe Sunday....no idea. I have no clue if I even O'd this cycle or not. I didn't have any signs that I could pick up on, plus with my mid-cycle bleeding, who knows! Maybe my bleeding really was related to O'd. If it was.....then I think the 13-14th would be the perfect days to test!!

@MrsBrewer: Im in the same boat as you. No idea if i O'd, no signs and mid cycle spotting (CD14). I too will be testing on the 14th.
@travellingbee: Haha, so true
@KelLeeLeee: I Hope im one of them

@KelLeeLeee: @travellingbee: Thanks for your expertise, ladies! Now I just need to wait for a couple more days to test again, I think.

@sheskrafty: hoping next cycle is your cycle!
@meredithNYC: just saw your opk post and I agree that I have a light line no matter when in my cycle. Still holding out hope for you though

@meredithNYC: yeah I agree, wait & test again.
@sheskrafty: Good luck at the RE... I hope that means you will have your bfp really soon!
@MrsBrewer: yeah we have quite the crowd testing then, join us!

@yellowbird: really tired and really hungry haha. My boobs also don't hurt at all, and they always do by now, so maybe that means something? I'm 8dpo and I just bought the Sure Predict hpt so I am going to start testing tomorrow since I have a wedding to go to on Saturday. How's it going for you??

WARNING: This is not a pregnancy test!!!
@meredithNYC: just for the heck of it I took an OPK just now too. I am 12 DPO and AF is due anytime. I am definitely not pregnant since we didn't BD during my fertile time at all. But here is a picture of my OPK..
cherry / 125 posts
@meredithNYC: It's still early, good luck!
@KelLeeLeee: My boobs never hurt when I was pregnant with my DD, so maybe that's a good thing if they usually do before AF? I started getting a slight, slight, slight positive with her at 8DPO. Good luck!!

@travellingbee: yep, that's about what my line looked like *stepping away from the opk's now!

@KelLeeLeee: I'm kind of over the tww at 3dpo. This is tortuous. No real symptoms at all. I'm excited for you to test!

I'm 8 dpo and felt a little sick earlier, but I have a feeling I just drank coffee too fast on an empty stomach.
