We have been given a travel trailer from my Dad - so this summer we will be renovating the 20 year old trailer and getting going on camping! We have never camped with kids - so hit me with your best tips and tricks!

Oh following! We love camping and are hoping to go this year too! DS is 4 months now, so it'll definitely be a different game than we are used to!

I brought along an additional small tent for the kids to play in. That way, the real tent would be zipped up, free of bugs and dirt. I also didn't bother bringing many toys. Just things that made the outdoors more fun: sidewalk chalk, glow sticks (bought in bulk from Amazon) for nighttime, and art supplies (they painted rocks, pine cones, and sticks they collected). Also bikes and scooters.
Our campground is a short walk to the beach, so we spent a lot of time there.

No advice but commenting to follow! Our son is currently 5 months and we've been debating about if we'll do a camping trip this summer or if it'll be too much hassle to be fun. I'm leaning towards wanting to do it.

Also don't forget smores, hair ties, download a stargazing app-trust me, they are amazing tools these days, bring wet wipes to wash hands and have fun singing, being loud, running around and enjoying nature!! I'm so excited for you!
