I have the my little lamb swing. It's a good swing and I used it for 2 kids. Mine is kind of broken now though. It doesn't work that well unless you give it a push when you turn it on. However I will say that my DD played with it a lot and leaned on it after she outgrew it, and we didn't take that great care of it for DS and it still lasted him until he was done with it. I actually like that its battery operated. Was handy for me when I had no power during a hurricane.

ETA: little lamb is an older model and perhaps there might be more bad reviews as people use the swing longer

We have the snuggabunny and it's a lifesaver!! DS loves it.

You will find motor complaints for every single swing on the market (trust me -- I did a roundup for a product website recently).

I think the Lamb swing doesn't plug in, while Snugabunny does. That's huge. Also don't think the Lamb swing has a five-point harness. Go for the bunny! It made it through one LO and is soon to be dusted off for No. 2.

I have the lamb one and have absolutely no complaints. It's actually a loaner from friends and my LO is the third baby to use it (and love it!) in the last 3 years. It works perfectly. And it's very masculine- dd doesn't mind it though

My advice if you get a battery operated swing is to invest in rechargeable batteries. That thing uses batteries like crazy!

@marionberry: I totally see them as gender neutral! Actually if the new coral colored one had been out I may have gotten that.. We got a good deal on the snugabunny though. I think either is fine, whichever you want to look at more!

@marionberry: I would have gotten the Snugabunny regardless of gender. I also liked that it could plug into the wall. I'm so sick of changing batteries on our bouncer!

We have the Snugabunny brand new, and were handed down 2 other FP swings (older models). I don't remember the names since I've distributed them among the parents' houses. We just tried one the other day and it did have a loud motor sound for the mobile part and the music stopped working. But she still thought it was interesting. I think they take quite a bit of abuse.
Oh - and our Snugabunny makes a weird noise if the base is even close to the wall. So I have to move it out a couple of inches away from the wall and no more noise.

@marionberry: Just wanted to mention that the snugabunny is on NBD sometimes. If you're purchasing yourself I would definitely look there first!

We have the snugabunny and it was absolutely perfect. We had 0 problems with it and she used it constantly for about 5 months.

We have the Snugabunny and couldn't live without it. No complaints and have recommended it to a number of friends.

@marionberry: We have the Snugabunny . . . I think it's fairly gender neutral (with the coloring). My LO hated it when she was small, liked it around 3ish months, and loved it shortly thereafter . . . she still loves it now at almost 11 months (she weighs right around 18 pounds). My LO is on the smaller side, so she's not even close to the weight limit. Being able to plug it in was awesome(!) and we didn't have any problems with the motor.

@marionberry: We have the snuggabunny version for our son (and the m,atching bouncer as well) and I didn't think about it being manly or not when we bought it. I wanted something gender nuetral in case we have a girl next time and I thought it could be used for either.

We have the snugabunny swing and LO loved it and we had no issues what so ever with it. It was a great swing, I loved that it plugged in so we didn't have to deal with batteries & at times it was the only thing that soothed LO!
