Has anybody done a floorbed if LO shares a room with you? I'm trying to figure out if it would work. LO will be in her crib for a while longer, but we are starting to think about what to do when she outgrows her crib.

Lo is in her own room in a toddler bed. I don't picture her ever staying put on a floor bed, especially if she's so close to us. Good luck!

After two years of cosleeping, we just put LO in a floor bed in her own room. She was excited and I still take some time to put her to bed. It sounds mean but I told her not to get off her bed until the sun comes up or she gets timeout. She just stays in her bed and calls for me on some nights. So far I haven't the heart to ignore her.

We transitioned Lala to a floorbed in our room for awhile. She has one in her room now, but still prefers to sleep with us.

@Mrs. Jacks: Tell me more! Did she get up a lot? How did you create her own space? Did you have to completely baby-proof your room? What else can you share?
