We are planning a family vacation to Florida for spring break next year.

It will be 7 people total (two people in their 50s, two people in their late 20s, two people in their early 20s, and my LO who will be 15 months) Everyone is high energy.

We decided on Florida because we want something affordable and tropical without going international.

DH and I would love to do Universal Studios if possible, my BIL and his GF are young and are interested in a party atmosphere, and my in-laws are looking for a beach-ey relaxing type of vacation with some fun activities thrown in, but are open to doing anything whatsoever.

Should we stay at a resort? Rent a house? Stay near Disney? Stay far away and drive to Disney? Avoid Disney entirely?

We definitely want lots of beach time (but not sure if we should stay on East coast or West coast of FL)

We also want to stay somewhere that isn't a mecca of college students partying on spring break.

Help!
