I'm considering getting something like this for LO but not sure if it will attract dog hair. Anyone have any experience?

@jhd: I think ours is similar and yes it gets some dog hair, but less than a carpet for sure. And a stiffer cloth picks it right up. Food, on the other hand, gets really into the crevices in ours.

@Foodnerd81: Thanks for your help. I didn't think about crumbs! That gives me another thing to consider. Right now he usually plays on a blanket and I can throw it in the washing machine when it gets dirty!

I have a similar one and a cat. Its definitely way easier than cleaning carpet. But cat likes scratching it though!

@jhd: actually crumbs aren't bad, you can just sweep them. But ours is near her high chair so she splatters it with pouches or other messy food and its gross.

Nannied for a kid with something very similar, and don't recall any issues at all from their two dogs (who definitely shed).
