Sorry to keep posting about pretty much the same subject! Just wanted to share and get feedback.
1 day before my trigger (with one more menopur injection in between) and three days before IUI, my follicle sizes were:
Left: 16.3, 10.6
Right: 15.1, 10.2, 11.3, 18.0, 14.6
How many do you think would have ovulated? Thanks so much, girls!!!

Definitely the 18 and maybe the 16.3
Four days before my first IUI my two follicles were 17 and 17.5
They were 18.5 and 23.5 the day before my first IUI.
One follicle had already ovulated the day of my first IUI so I came back in for a second IUI the next day.

Between the previous Wednesday and the Saturday ultrasound that gave me the above numbers, the lead follicle had grown 4 inches. He didn't give me numbers for the others at that time. I figured if they continued to grow at that rate until the IUI, they'd be:
Left- 20.3, 14.6
Right- 19.1, 14.2, 15.3, 22, 18.6
If that was the case, they'd all ovulate. Is that not how it works? I feel kind of dumb.

@CatchAFallingStar: After having tons of monitoring I learned you can't extrapolate like that because they don't grow at consistent rates. I too think your 18mm for sure and possibly the 16mm may have released. They wouldn't have done the IUI if they thought several follicles were mature - it's unethical!

@spaniellove: @littlek: yes, my RE cancels if you have 3 or more mature follicles.

I had 9 follicles near the end of various sizes. I was on injectibles meds so we adjusted my dose and I came back in either the next day or the day after that. If the adjustment didn't work we talked about converting to IVF or canceling the cycle. Luckily only 3 follicles grew and the rest actually shrunk. The cycle was still almost cancelled because of the three follicles, I had to sign a paper acknowledging the chance of multiples.

I know my RE would prob say 2-4 and as @KT326: said he would have had the multiple chat.....

@CatchAFallingStar: it did! And only one egg fertilized. But also remember that just because a follicle is mature doesn't mean the egg is a good one. So you may have 2 or 3 ovulate but only one may be a good one, which is all it takes!
