How many meals, per day, does your LO eat with gluten?
Is this something I should be limiting?

When we started it was just one food per day. A few pieces of something: steamed zucchini, Bell pepper, banana were early things we tried.
I did his feeding late afternoon because that worked for our schedule, but you can do whatever works for y'all. Just remember they don't necessarily eat very much at first. Maybe a few bites if you're lucky
We didn't really delay anything because we don't have a history of allergies. Glad to answer any more questions you might have!
Good luck and remember to relax and let the baby lead things

Now that she is on 3 meals a day she might get gluten once a day max?
Typically breakfast is eggs, oatmeal or a pouch. Lunch is always a protein (meat or fish), vegetable and fruit, dinner is the same, a protein, vegetable and fruit. She gets gluten via muffins, pasta, etc. I'm personally not too concerned.

I don't think it really matters too much. M gets puffs, cheerios and toast but she gets it once a day unless I'm feeling lazy, then she may get it more often.

@jmarionsmith: Doh! Just reread this post and realized you specifically asked about gluten. That's what I get for answering someone after midnight... I just didn't want your question to go unanswered as it was pushed down the board by fluffier chat posts. Anyway. Sorry I didn't actually answer your question.
We try to avoid filler foods like empty carbs, but don't strictly avoid them.

LO eats gluten every day in one form or another. At daycare, they usually serve some kind of bread with lunch (i.e., cornbread when they have chili, wheat bread for sandwiches, brown rice for stirfry, pasta, etc.), then for snack in the afternoon it can be something like gluten like goldfish crackers, or Ritz with hummus or bagel with strawberry cream cheese.
LO eats pasta (she likes these organic veggie shells with homemade sauce) a couple times a week, brown rice, quinoa, etc.
My food believe system is "everything in moderation", so I don't really monitor it. She eats more veggies and proteins.

When we started on solid foods we gave LO steamed veggies, or soft fruits. We include proteins now and LO eats a big variety, but we do keep carbs to once a day typically. She does love her puffs though!
