Did you find that certain clothes such as shorts, pants or even onesies werent fitting your LO because the diaper is too bulky? This is one of my worries..

Sometimes she'll go to the next size up quicker in pants than she will the onsies. Not sure why but the onsies haven't really been affected by them But she's going to have to wear that size pants in a month whether she's wearing cloth diapers or not.

Not really. I think we've gone up in onesie size slightly faster than if we used paper diapers but it isn't like it is significant. It all depends on the baby. I have a long torso'd skinny kid so we likely would have been doing it anyway. If we go up in pants size early (rare but some brands are smaller than others) we just roll the cuffs.

We don't really have an issue. My lo is in the 95th percentile for weight, so her clothes are always a size or 2 up anyway. But she wears the same size in pants and shirts.

oh ok.. thanks guys! right now I am mostly only buying clothes in siszes 6-9months and one outfit in 3-6months size. I am avoiding buying NB sizes or even 0-3months so I wont end up with clothes that dont fit my baby

We received a lot of newborn & 0-3 sized clothes at our shower. We also received a 30 pack of disposable diapers that we only use when a big cloth butt will prevent her from fitting into one of these cute outfits.
Going forward, I will buy pants that are bigger so we won't need to use disposables at all.

DS was 10lbs 9oz at birth. Nothing size newborn fit him at all. He did fit into the 0-3 month clothes for about 4-6 weeks. He moved into the 3-6 month stuff which fit him pretty close to 4 or 5 months, before he was in 6-9 month clothes.
We do cloth diaper, but DS is already tall and lean, plus big overall for his age, so it's hard to tell. I do know that his 6-12 month onesies are tight over a cloth diaper and looser over a sposie, but they still fit okay. I don't think he's moving up sizes that much earlier due to cloth diapers. Also, he was in cloth from 6 weeks on, and it's been pretty steady since the beginning. His bum was bulkier with one size diapers in the first 3-4 months and now that he's taller and leaner, it doesn't seem to add as much.
I would definitely get some 0-3 mos clothes and some 3-6 month clothes. Even though DS was 95% for height and weight from birth to 6 months, he still wore clothes in all those sizes for at least a month. I got about 2-3 really cute outfits in each size and then some basic stuff - onsies and knit pants/shorts to make up the rest of his day to day. Most days he's at daycare or we were home, so I saved the really cute outfits for when we were out and about.

LO was 7lbs 6oz when we left the hospital and full time cloth diapering by around week 3. LO is long and lean, and she fit in 0-3 mos clothes until around 2 mos whether she was in cloth or disposables. I didn't get a bunch of 0-3 mos clothes, but I'm very glad we had some.

I have used disposables for six months and switching to cloth hasn't effected us. Pants always seem to run small on her but it's not because of cloth diapers. The one thing I have heard was baby jeans are very hard to get over diapers.

She just can't wear jeans so I bought her jeggings - super cute and easier to put on.

We haven't had too many issues, I use jeggings for her or go up a size sometimes in jeans. I have some trimmer CDs that I use for certain pants & the bulkier ones for stretch pants.

The Carter's 6 months size has been tricky for us. Most of the newborn-3 month size things are roomy & stretchy, but the 6th month sizes are more like "real" pants, and there's not as much room for the cloth diaper. So I'm guessing we'll go through those quicker... but I'm definitely on the look out for brands that are more cloth diaper friendly.
