@kjpugs: thank you! It was definitely a rough recovery. I'm so glad the brain lets you forget the pain!
@wheres_c: a very small part of me wants to try a VBAC, but it's going to involve a lot of discussion with my ob-gyn about my pelvis, because she was completely stuck up there, and I worry that it'll happen again. I did not enjoy my c-section either though, so who knows, maybe I'll go for it. Hopefully I have a few years to decide lol
@hellobeeboston: haha that's why we know the time as well. My poor family got all excited thinking the baby was coming soon... *3 hours later*.....

@knittylady: I know how long I pushed because my OB was like "Looks like you're going to have a May baby!" when I was complete. Uhh, yeah.... he was born at 5:14 a.m. JUNE 1st. Lies! Lying liar lies!

I knew pushing was going to suck when my OB said "So you feel that? Uh oh." (failed epi) and when she said "Oh, I see an ear. A whole ear. That's not good!" If we ever have another baby, she is not allowed to talk. lol

Yes, so scared of another long labor. Last time I pushed for 3 hours. I was so exhausted at the end, all color had drained from my face and I don't think I really got to enjoy the first hour of LO's life because I was so exhausted.
Currently pregnant with #2 and feeling more encourage after reading stories from ladies that pushed a long time with #1 and didn't push for nearly as long with #2.

@Dandelion: Our midwives document each stage of labor, so I have a little list of: onset of contractions, membrane rupture, pushing, birth, and placenta. Otherwise, we don't have clocks in our house, so I would have no clue!!

I pushed for 2 hours and could've killed the nurse on duty. She was soooooooooo preppy and was like "almost there!" for literally the whole entire time. I'm due in less then 6 weeks and hoping for a much faster L&D.

I'm going to ask my midwife is she took notes! I've always wanted to know these things!

I pushed for 2.5 hours with epi. It didn't seem that long at all though.

Total pushing was about 5 hours, 3-4 to get her down and rotate her because she was sunny side up, then another 1.5-2 to get her out of the birth canal and she got stuck at the end which seemed like an eternity. I'm hoping the next one is a lot quicker.

I pushed for just under 3 hours. I only know how long it was because we wanted him to get here before our nurse went off duty at 3pm. I started pushing at 12pm after laboring down for an hour and he was born at 2:54pm
