All daycares in our county need formula in premixed bottles labeled with the students name and date. We would mix them and take them in a cooler bag. Then we put them in a refrigerator at daycare in his room.

At our daycare we bring in the formula and the bottles separately and they mix it when they make a bottle.

I think they're good for 24 hours! You could potentially send a pitcher if you want? Otherwise I'd mix them in the bottles and cap them off for them. Our daycare made the bottles up for us, so we just sent the can, but i know that's not an option for you

We brought the formula pre-measured in one of those plastic travel containers for formula. I put the correct amount of water in the bottles as well so they just had to mix it. Bottles & formula were labeled with her name.

We've done it both ways. Our first daycare we took the canister to them and left it there and then took clean bottles each day and they made bottles as needed.

Our daycare now requires them to be made and labeled. If you decide to make them yourself, get the Dr Browns mixing pitcher. It's the best money spent in our bottle feeding world.
