So I have a major complex about the fact that I'm unable to breastfeed. I literally don't produce milk, and it sucks, so I know I'm sensitive- just a disclaimer.
My completely amazing happy eff 4.5 month old was cleared to start solids by her doctor. I was reading the handout they gave and it said that FF babies are able to start solids between 4-6, whole BF babies are to wait until at least 6months. I did a google search trying to find out what on earth the reason for the difference would be, and all it leads me to is telling me yet again why I should never feed my child the poison that is formula, that basically FF babies are going to be obese anyway so feeding them food doesn't matter since they're ruined, and that formula doesn't provide proper nutrition so solids are needed sooner. BF babies are getting nectar of the gods on the other hand, so please don't screw up your child perfect digestive system by introducing food until you absolutely have to.
So now I'm having yet another breakdown about screwing my child up for her entire life. Someone please tell me there's a legitimate reason beyond "you've already failed them so do what you want"
