I received a formula sample addresses to me in the mail today... I miscarried in September and haven't been successful in getting pregnant since then. I opened the mailbox and felt like I got punched in the stomach. I have no idea how they got my information. Has anyone else receives mailings like this? I don't get any magazines, mail or email that is baby related so I'm baffled as to where this came from.

Did you ever shop at a maternity store? I bought one thing at motherhood maternity and started getting samples in the mail a few months after. I'm so sorry for your loss

How awful! Luckily I haven't gotten anything like that (I sure hope I don't...). Did you sign up for BabyCenter or the Nest or anything like that? Thats the only thing I can think of.

A lot of times, if you have signed up for websites like The Bump, Baby Center, etc, they sell your information.

ugh that sucks! i'm sorry.... this happened to me actually. when we moved into our new house and we were TTC I kept getting all of this baby stuff in the mail. i have NO idea why. i hadn't shopped at any baby stores or anything... i kept getting giant Enfamil coupons.... It sucked.
maybe it got there through your doctors office? i don't know.

@savanarunner: this happened to me. Sometimes, just signing in at the dr office will get you on lists. I gave it away and tried to forget it.

I've gotten some where I know I hadn't signed up for them... but I was registered with the bump and baby center so I wasn't totally surprised. I'm sorry this happened to you though.

Yep, I got quite a few of these packages. I tossed them in the closet because the expiration date on them is quite a ways out. I have kind of a stash now

Stores like Target also track what kind of purchases you make so if you purchase any baby items, they also sell it to companies and you will start getting mailers on babies/formula.
