What formula do you use when you are supplementing? One doctor in my practice suggested Similac Sensitive and the other Gerber Good Start. How do you choose?

We use Gerber Good Start Gentle. We started using it on the recommendation of a friend. We never had an issue with it, so we never used anything else.
We had problems with Similac the one time we tried it because the store was sold-out of the Gerber. It made her horribly constipated.

We use Similac Sensitive for 2 reasons: 1) the hospital gave us several small bottles and 2) Similac sent us 2 containers and LO doesn't seem to mind it. Plus we have a ton of coupons for it.

Enfamil newborn. Hospital gave us a ton of ready made formula, we had 2 samples, and have a ton of coupons.

I was using similac advanced but I gave DS some two weeks ago and he threw it all up and I'm convinced it was the formula. I've been scared to supplement since! Need to figure something out before he goes back to daycare next week.

Enfamil- we got samples from the pediatrician early on and DD never seemed to have a problem with it so we've stuck to it.

@turtledoves I thought I was doing something wrong how frothy it is in the bottle.

We use similac sensitive. We were given tons of samples of that and enfamil but the enfamil would never dissolve well so we stuck with similac.

Enfamil Gentle-ease because my sister can get it for us for free.

@MrsBeachyBaby: no:( it just is! I only supplement so I'll grab the ready feed to avoid the froth. But if youre feeding everyday & using powder, You could stir instead of shake, but for us who use playtex liners, that doesn't work. So- I love Enfamil:)
