@GreenThumb: That is cute! My sister makes clothes for her daughter all the time in a similar style.

@blackbird: The only thing I've made for E are a pair of fleece pants using another pair as the pattern. And that dragon costume, but that was basically a hoodie.
I'm a little sad that I'll never have a little girl to make cute dresses for, but then again, I'll never have to explain menstruation to anyone. I guess those cancel each other out, lol!

I like Oliver & S Sunny Day Shorts. I've made a few pairs.

I made this little dress by tracing the body of a current dress then making up a sleeve piece. I'm actually shocked that the sleeves seemed to match up ok. I'm just starting to learn how to follow patterns and it's freaking hard. But fun!

Tonight I'm going to attempt a sweet romper I saw online. I don't want to post a pic because I'll admit I'm straight up copying her. Well making my own pattern but still. Ok and couldn't find the same fabrics but tried to find similar. Wish me luck!!

@blackbird: I do too. Can't stop. I don't know if they will actually all be worn in the summer but I feel like they are a little fancier than just a onesie? Maybe I'm just trying hard to justify haha.

@blackbird: I didn't even think of diaper changes. I guess adding snaps at the crotch might help?

@blackbird: I agree. I try my hardest to avoid all snaps, buttons and zippers.

This thread has inspired me to break my sewing machine out again! I've ordered two patterns and some awesome fabric this morning!
