I gained weight the end of my senior year of high school. I played tuba in marching band and that's how I kept in shape, but when football season ended I started gaining. But in college I started taking topamax for migraines, so I lost a ton of weight. Too much weight.

I think I gained 10 lbs. I used to be way more active in high school (cheerleading, dance team) but once I hit college, I didn't do ANYTHING but eat, study (a little) and go out with my friends (freedom from the parents!). It was pretty bad.

I think I gained a healthy amount. I was 120 in high school and by the time college was over, I was 135. I think a lot was muscle from the sports I was playing, though.

Maybe a lb or two! I was under 100 lbs then...
I think weight started sticking on me after my 27th birthday! I miss my fast metabolism!

I actually lost weight my first yeat of college. I had really bad eating habits trying to stay skinny. We used to say we were "drinking" out diet, not healthy caused me a lot of stomach problems. I finally started to date a guy when I was 19 that helped get me to a healthy place.

I actually stayed pretty much the same my freshman year. But sophomore year I put on about 15 pounds. I blame this on my husband. We start dating at the beginning of sophomore year and he was a football player who ate like 5 full meals a day and always made me come with him!

I probably lost about 25-30 pounds over the course of college... just as my high school football muscles slowly faded away.

I didn't gain anything until I got married, which was at the end of my junior year. I've gained 6 or 7 pounds since then.

I gained the freshman 15 (or more?) my first quarter of college! It freaked me out, and I started taking PE classes like speed walking, weight lifting and pilates. I lost it all by the summer of freshman year and kept it off until after college.

I lost weight because we had to cook our own food. I was in England and stayed in dorm that had self catering

I stayed about the same weight, I think. I had to start working to maintain my weight when I turned 25. It was like a magic switch and BAM! I was so sad...

I didn't gain weight in college. I was roughly the same weight from teens until my very late 20's when my fast metabolism went to sleep!

I think I gained 10 my freshman year, then another 10 throughout the rest of college. And I have been yoyo-ing up and down since then, for the past 10 years!

None, we had to walk everywhere on campus. Driving our cars was a waste because of parking.
I always get surprised when ppl gain weight the 1st year...I guess their college had transporation for them ON campus!LOL

Not sure how much I gained in my freshman year, but I had an awful trend of weighing my age with a 0 at the end. Lasted from 13ish until I was 22! I never learned how to eat properly, and once I was "free" in college it only got worse. Luckily I lost a ton of weight after college and the trend has not returned.

I lost 15-20 lbs my first year. I ran myself ragged my first year of college as it was also my senior year of high school. I took 17 college credits, was a student group leader at my church, was in choir and on newspaper, and worked 20-30 hrs at subway. It was a hard year and I was just constantly busy so I lost weight.
But I gained it all back when I took a year off

I lost 30 pounds in college because I went on a diet (trying to get the boys!) and I was walking so much. I slowly gained back 15 pounds or so over the course of the next three years from the usual - beer & pizza.
Now, I definitely gained the Married 40! ...Wait, that's not a thing? Crap.

Yeah, I don't think I gained much as a freshman. I didn't really go out and party a lot, either.
I did gain some weight when I got married.

@Artbee - I lost a TON of weight on Topomax, too - about 20 pounds over 3 months. It was not healthy.
I lost weight my freshman year (all the walking and losing some muscle mass from not cheering anymore). But then my sophomore year, I packed on about 20 pounds. I had a horrible roommate and was really depressed, to the point that I had to drop out for a semester. I eventually lost about 10 pounds over the next 2 years, and then quickly dropped another 20 pounds when I started taking Topomax in grad school.

I gained about 20lbs between the end of high school to the end of my first year in university. Then I lost it all the next year. But I've been very up-and-down on the scale since high school.

I lost weight... I think it was all the commuting... 1.5 hours each way to all the way to the city. Pretty much kept most of the weight off until pregnancy...

I stayed around the same but I gained a ton of muscle and lost the little extra fat I had. I was doing athletics and although I'd done them in high school we never focused on lifting all that much. I went from scrawny to being able to do a ton of pull-ups. No more pull-ups from me, I'm weak again.
