Which do you prefer? Why?
We just picked up a used Bell one for $20 and it's a rear. My husband said this way she won't get hit with bugs, etc.

we don't have one yet because LO is too small, but i feel like we'll go with a rear one.
ETA: it seems more sturdy to me to have LO on the back. like it won't topple the bike?

I think we want a carrier cage instead of a seat. It seems safer in case of a fall.

We've had both. Rear is definitely the way to go for us. DS is a bruiser (probably about 34lbs at 28months) and it is not stable to ride with him on the front of the bike. We use a Hamax brand seat.
