People like this tick me off so bad, they want to make headlines, so they come up with the MOST OBSCURE thing they can think of to get a rise out of people. Worst is some people believe everything they read so this will get even more unneeded attention. And what is so wrong with "normalizing" homosexuality, I think making homosexuality more upfront in media will help stop the discrimination against it in the up and coming generations.

But... the argument of normalizing homosexuality aside... How/where/when is there any hint of homosexuality, or bestiality, in the movie?!?! Did he even watch it??
So confused... people are so stupid. The internet wastes so much of my brain power sometimes... haha

@swurlygurl: Well, there was a throw-away line during the trolls' song:

"His peculiar brain, dear, his thing for the reindeer
That's outside a few of nature's laws"

There was a thread on reddit about this today, and I think this comment sums it up pretty well:

"Well Elsa is hidden away because of this shameful thing that she has to hide. Then in the end the "true love" that saves the town is because [spoilers] her sister saves her instead of going for a kiss with her hetero "true love." The obvious takeaway is that the power of the love you have for your family is as strong, maybe stronger, than what you might feel for a partner.

But if you are looking for a homosexual boogeyman everywhere, and you start with Elsa's powers being an analogy for homosexuality, you might believe that Disney masked the two girls' love for each other as them being sisters, subtly giving young girls the suggestion that they should love other girls instead of men. It is a bizarre theory."

Say what?

I have to admit, when I was watching the movie I thought there might be some statements about homosexuality, but in a very positive way. The part where her parents tell her to "conceal, don't feel" and then she finally decides to be her true self and she's much happier. I thought it was a nice sentiment that could possibly be directed to those that were hiding their sexuality, though it could apply to other things as well. But I didn't think the sister thing had anything to do with it... that's just weird.

I have heard and read a few articles talking about Elsa's powers being a metaphor for homosexuality and how her embracing her powers in the song Let It Go to be akin to coming out. With that said I have also read lots of other groups; handicapped, special needs, race, as well as bullying and acceptance of oneself all draw parallels to the same ideas of not being comfortable with themselves only to finally come to terms and embracing and loving that side of themselves. I think thats the best part of story telling and creating; when you can see yourself and relate to the characters and whats happening to them so in this I think Frozen has truly crossed over and made such an impactful and powerful story. And I agree, whether or not the writers were thinking homosexuality when they wrote it, what is wrong with normalizing homosexuality as well as other marginalized groups?

I have never once thought about bestiality.

Haven't seen the movie. What's her real power? Being homosexual is a lame power. You can't fly or heal animals with a single touch.

I find it disgusting that the claims of homosexual undertones stem in part from the closeness of two sisters. Incest and homosexuality are completely different.
