I've had an induction for labor officially scheduled for 39w1d! So polling to see if I have any shot at going into labor naturally before then. I'm thinking it's pretty slim chance - I'm 36w5d and cervix has started softening but that's it.
I'm sure there are similar questions/polls but I always like to get recent responses on these types of questions

I went into labor at 39 weeks 3 days - but a friend of mine had her first at 38 weeks, so it happens! Fingers crossed for you

@kiddosc: I had a suspected placenta abruption early on, and he recently took a big dip in percentiles, so they want to get him out earlier since risk of placenta failing will start to go up if that's the cause of his small size.

37+5. But I would have been induced at 39 due to blood pressure issues.

Well I had prodromal labor for 2 weeks before I finally went into natural labor. But I voted for when I had real, active labor that resulted in the baby actually coming, so that would be at 37 + 2 days. She was born the next day!

My water broke at 39 weeks, contractions started 39+1, lo born 39+2.

Not until 40+6, and that was with every natural labour-inducer I could think of!

My first pregnancy I went into labour at 49+5 BUT my second came at 37+1..so it COULD happen..

Water broke at 38 weeks. Absolutely no reason to suspect that I would be two weeks before my due date... So it happens!
