Hmm...I was pretty silent through most of my L&D, but I did tell the anesthesiologist that I loved her and asked her to marry me after she placed my epidural.

I blissfully told DH "This feels AHHHHHHHHMAZING" when I got into the tub... I also told my mom this and my MW assistant when she came and checked on me.

I told my mom I didn't need clothes when we decided to transfer to the hospital.

When we got to the hospital where I was an automatic cesarean I IMMEDIATELY told the nurses "Give me something for pain, I don't need to feel these anymore!"

People in my delivery room seemed to think I was rather funny during my labor too.

- I was insistent throughout the entire time that DH and my sister find me a real Italian sub for me to eat after I delivered, and I was annoyed that all they kept turning up in yelp searches was Subway.

- Right at the very end of pushing, the doctor asked me if we had a name for the baby, and I yelled out "yes, but *not* telling until she is born!"

- I didn't believe my husband and the doula when they told me after a couple of pushes that they could see the baby's hair. I laughed at them and told them they were lying.

I prejectile vomited all over my man.....oops

Once I had the epi the pressure of the baby made me feel like I had to poop (which I was terrified of actually doing), so when I was pushing I was holding back a little and told my midwife I was afraid the baby was coming out of the wrong end. She just laughed and assured me that it was physically impossible, although in the moment I wasnt thinking straight and was sure it was going to happen!
