Funny always.
I'm not a serious person and I get super awkward with sentimental things. So I always go funny.

Depends on the friend. I have one who only appreciates the sincere cards, another who we exchange random monkey cards (even if they're like "You're the Best, Grandson!"). In general though I go with funny.

mostly funny. one friend & i often exchange cards for the wrong occasion, it amuses us. but i do give sincere cards to friends on their children's birthdays, not for the kids but for them, just to thank them for the wonderful people they are raising and to tell them they're doing a great job and that i'm so proud of them.

Funny.
Those sincere cards that are like 3 pages long make me gag.
