So when you're taking care of your LO by yourself, there is bound to be a time when you gotta go poo and they are not sleeping or otherwise engaged right? I'm going #2 the other day and the LO grabs some toilet paper and wipes my butt. Ugh. I was slightly humiliated.

Lol, she's so helpful! My LO is always in the bathroom with me, she has lots of toys in there now.

Yeah, I've definitely used the bathroom many times while DD is strapped to me in the Ergo or the Moby. I'm not going to take her off of me just to use the bathroom...

At daycare, they do lots of sensory play and art. They have big climber things and slides ... like at Gymboree. And then they go out to the playground twice a day which has a sandbox, slide, trikes, etc. Then there is always story time and dress up time plus they have people who come in to do music or let them pet animals. So no real toys are needed...which I think is great.
On the weekends, we just go out a lot. Haha.

Wagon Jr. likes to point out moles and birthmarks on my legs. I have one on the bottom of my foot and a strawberry birthmark on my calf. He pokes them and presses and says "ouch!". The other day he did it to a scab and picked it off and I bled. Ouch indeed.

charlie came into the bathroom while i was pooping last week, and it was diarrhea (tmi). he's obsessed with seeing poop, so he was in the room while i was pooping, he looked at the poop, then he flushed the poop.

@Mrs. Bee: I wasn't really paying attention - err, I was concentrating on doing my business - and she had the toilet paper and wiped before I could say no!
I don't think I would want the LO to see my poop!!! I started a thread about this a while ago ... I don't even like to look at my own poop!

I just don't like the idea of Lo touching surfaces that might have poop particles on them. Lots of bacteria flies around when you flush!

My best friend called me recently just to tell me that she really wants me to focus for the next six months on enjoying the pleasure of going to the bathroom by myself. She has a four year old and hasn't peed alone since her daughter was born : )

@MamaMoose: My mom tells me the same thing. She's like good luck getting a bathroom break, relaxing bath, ect. without someone interrupting you! Looking back I totally remember knocking on the bathroom door when mom was in the bath for whatever reason. I also knew how to break into the lock so I could sit on the toliet and talk to her while she relaxed in the bath...i loved it she hated it! haha

Hahahaha! This is great.
DD's currently obsessed with nipples. Her new favorite thing is to lift up her shirt and tell strangers that her nipples are small but mommy's are big. She also likes to wear my bra around the house and refers to her "boobs" quite often in public.

I was eating lunch one day right after changing my LO's diaper. Went to pick some food out of my teeth and tasted poop!! AGH! Apparently there was some under my fingernail I failed to wash off when I washed my hands - ICK!

@obxwife: haha that's funny and gross at the same time. True story- I had a coworker get pinkeye b/c he didn't clean the poop under his fingernail after a diaper change.
