How do you handle genital exploration? I never had a problem with my DD. DS on the other hand is obsessed. Being a boy I figured it would happen eventually but I didn't expect it like this. When he's bored he touches himself to a point where I'm uncomfortable and then laughs about it when I can't put a diaper on him properly. Idk what to do. He's almost 2. How would you handle this?

I always read that you don't want to embarrass them or shame them or anything. But instead anytime you see him doing it say something like "we do that in private" and then "we need to was our hands after doing that" and have them go wash their hands. Something like that. Sorry I wasn't mor clear! I can't remember all the details of what I've read.

Exploration or masterbation is completely normal and healthy. You could use it as a teaching moment.
"That's your penis." -- later you can expand ... "That probably feels good when you touch it, but this is something private. Please do this in your room or in a safe space."
Yes to the hand washing piece too.
Again, totally normal. It won't ever stop (unlikely), so you might as well use it as a moment to open a channel of communication.

Both of my boys (4 and 20 months) are obsessed with touching themselves. I think it's normal and just talk to them about that being a part of their body.
My 4 year old in the past few days has started sticking his hands down his pants while watching TV and also started to pull down his underwear to expose himself, get our attention about it and then laugh so yeah......so as a previous poster commented we will have to start talking about how that is inappropriate to do in front of others.
