I have a vial of novarel I will not use.
Does anyone know of somewhere I can safely dispose of this? My gut says not to throw it away..

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Look up your county or township's trash service. They probably have a Medication Take-back program..
We can take ours to our local police department.

I called my clinic to ask if they took meds to give to patients and they said they'd welcome them. My first clinic actually gave me a few vials of injectibles during IVF when no matter how many times I reordered I kept running out.

I gave my old meds to my RE's office for injections classes.

I gave all my meds to my re to either donate or use it to instruct others how to inject.

I take meds of any kind (epi pens, expired prescriptions, etc.) back to our family dr. who is happy to dispose of them safely for us.

My husband works in a large office complex with an on site health office and pharmacy. They have a special trash can where you can dump meds. I just had him take the remainder if my son's antibiotics back yesterday.
