So DD does awesome if she's naked - she's perfectly capable of going to the bathroom to pee/poop/whatever, but as soon as we put underwear or pants on her, she pee's in them. I swear they only last 10 minutes before she pee's in them and is back running around naked.
How do I get past the 'naked' stage!? This has been a weeks-long process already.

I think I remember from the Oh Crap method to start with loose clothing: dresses with no bottoms, oversized shorts, etc. good luck!

No advice, but you're not alone! My 3 year old can totally handle making it to the potty naked...but the second underwear goes on (or even very loose shorts that vaguely touch her bottom), she starts peeing in them. We've been stuck in the naked stage for weeks now, and I feel like it's just not getting better - and I'm so sick of her being naked. i mean, it's not that we're going anywhere, even...but I'm just tired of having to think so much about where she sits of what she sits on. I have wondered if she's just not actually ready to potty train, but I'm so confused since she can (seemingly) handle it naked.

Same, but especially with poop. It’s doesn't help that we’re at home the whole time so there’s basically no reason to ever where clothes.

@BUNBUN: We do long shirts or dresses mostly, and then as soon as shorts/pants go on (or even a loose romper last weekend) it's wet. SMH.
@caitcat: At least we're not alone, lol. DD is 3 years 3 months so should be ready. She even went 3+ hours on Mother's Day with no accident when we went to town to get carryout pizza, and then a half hour after we got home (and pee'd), she wet her pants.

Provide her with a basket of cleaning rags, a bucket for dirty rags and clothes, and a pile of loose shorts. When she pees in her pants calmly, with as little attention as possible, tell her to clean it up and change. Then ignore, ignore, ignore. Try to wait until she's distracted or engaged in play to go back over her clean up job more thoroughly. No attention for accidents. Lots of praise for potties. Taking a break from play to change is boring and takes effort and can be a good motivator.

@josina: I would have hoped we had made more progress after 2 months of being home. Hopefully we’ll be able to go back to daycare in a couple of weeks and we’ll see how that goes.

@Miss Ariel: Yeah, I think my daycare provider would actually be better at potty training since she's 100% paying attention the the kids all day. She helped a ton when we trained DS.
I think we went through at least 4 pair of pants a day this weekend. Holy laundry.

As a daycare provider, I would say that four pairs of pants a day is...normal. For some kids for the first two weeks wearing pants.
