@MrsTiz: In the Chinese culture, it is customary to celebrate the first 100 days of life as a symbol of the baby's health and good fortune.
I never threw any parties for my LOs!

@autumnlove: Cash.
Since my nephew and M were born 10 days apart I wanted to throw one but my mom said not to since my brother wasn't going to. So I begrudgingly agreed. Then. My SIL decided to do one last minute!!! Now I am SO bummed we did not do one for M.
My mom said well if #2 is a boy throw one then. Um. No mom. If M did not get one I'm not throwing one for #2.

@locavore_mama: I don't want to be a cheapo but I already bought a gift for the gender reveal party, baby shower and when I went over to visit after the baby was born! Eeek, baby gifts are expensive! I guess $100 is good!

@autumnlove: crazy! But you gotta give cash for 100 day party. You know your family will talk about it for-eh-ver if you don't. $100 is def my minimum go to! In your scenario more than generous.

@locavore_mama: you should throw one for baby 2 and I'll do one for 3! Yeah, that would look awful if we did that...especially if we have boys!

@autumnlove: ha! Seriously. I'm not having that guilt hanging over my head for eternity. Mommmm why didn't I get a party but my brother did?!?!
