It just occurred to me that should have a gift ready for my doula. Or should I tip cash? Gift card? Did you give your doula a gift?

We didn't tip her, but after the whole process was over we sent her an Edible Arrangements as a way to say thank you. She was amazing from beginning to end (and then some).

@mrsjazz: WHY indeed??? as far as I know, she isn't going to strip in the middle of the birth to show anyone her credentials on her thong underwear. LOL.

@mrsjazz: Cafe press is full of weirdness. They also have a bumper sticker that says "Meconium Happens". lol
They also have a bumper sticker that says "Doulas do it with enormous balls!". After carrying a birth ball through many a hospital, that one made me giggle.@Andrea: It could be anything, it's really just the fact that you thought about it that counts. But I think an Amazon gift card would be awesome, personally. Also, etsy has some gorgeous (and affordable) doula jewelry.

@Arden: I found another thread where you linked to some Etsy jewelry. I will probably go with that or a Starbucks gc. She seems to like her Starbucks. Thanks for the ideas! Lol to doing it with enormous balls.
