My husband has a coworker whose wife works for Disney. (I use the term "coworker" loosely-- they are in the same building but in different offices. Occasionally they have overlapping work related things but they are more like work-place friends).
Anyway, the guy and his wife don't have kids yet but have kindly offered many times to swipe our family into Disneyland (my understanding is they'll meet us at the park in the morning and get us in the gate, not physical tickets).
They have even given us specific dates to consider since the wife is planning to leave the company soon, but I feel weird accepting. I've never met/spoken to either of them but according to my husband they are happy to do us this favor/it's not a big deal.
If we go ahead with it, any ideas on how to show them our appreciation without spending too much $$?
Now with 2 daycare payments, we do not have the funds for a 1 day trip to Disneyland (nor would I think it is "worth it" right now in terms of ticket prices bc my husband and I went to Dland a bazillion times pre-kids and my kids right now are a bit too young to really enjoy it). It would be a casual Saturday outing, not jam-packed trying to experience all of Dland's goodness in one day.
Would you just pass on the offer, altogether?
Thanks!!
