So in searching around for hair clips to buy I came across this. Has anyone used it?!

Never heard of it! The reviews on Amazon look really good, though (too good to be true??)
What happens if your LO pulls at the pin when it's "glued" on her head/hair? I wonder if that means strands get pulled out..

@mauxie: I know... It's so weird but interesting at the same time..

What's the point of gluing things to your baby?!
I think this is insane.
I'd so much rather a stranger think my girls were boys than think I glued things to them.

I have seen this! I have had friends that used this and loved it.
The reason they used it was because their daughters were mistaken for boys ALL.THE.TIME and they just wanted to stick a bow on them to say hey world it's a girl.
What's really funny is even with a big bow... they still are sometimes congratulated for their boy.
It's kind of funny how people always mistaken babies for the opposite sex. Everyone always thinks my boys are girls.

My SIL uses it! It's a sugar based "glue" that comes right off with water. It might melt off in extreme hot weather though

I'm with @oliviaoblivia: on this one. Is it really such a big deal if people think your baby girl is a baby boy? Accessories for an infant are not a necessity, and certainly not worth using glue on my baby's head. Our hospital glued a little bow on my daughter's head when she was born and I was horrified.

@oliviaoblivia: @Truth Bombs: I agree that it's kinda crazy lol that's why I did a double take when I stumbled upon it!

@oliviaoblivia: totally agree!!! It was NBD if someone (typically a stranger) initially thought my LO was a boy.
I also don't see why you can't just use a stretchy elastic headband?!?

I think it's clever! And it's all natural so I don't see the problem with it. Some people love accessorizing their kids-- I don't really see the difference between using this to secure bows, or buying 50 baby headbands. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

We never used it, because I always just clipped the bows to headbands back when she was bald, but I don't think it's weird at all. I'm with @erinpye: -- I think it's clever! It's not super glue... it's no different than a hair clip. I love accessorizing my daughter. Not because I don't want people to think she's a boy, but because it's cute and fun.

We never used it but I don't see the big deal. It's all natural and washes off. Some people like bows some people don't. I personally love bows. Whatever makes you happy!
