Any suggestions on the best way to give my 17 month old liquid medicine? He hates it and we end up having to hold him down and give him little amounts at a time.
Any suggestions would be helpful!
Thanks!

You could try letting him give it to himself... DS will hold the tube and put it in his mouth and I push the meds in. Actually, sometimes he sucks it out!
Also if you do have to force him to take it, if you blow in the face lightly after you squeeze it in the mouth, he will swallow. Some kind of reflex.
We've also tried showing him some sort of video to distract him.
I feel you pain, DS went through a major phase of hating meds.

Little amounts at a time. We do find the best way is to just physically restrain her. If its both of us, one holds, one administers. If I am alone, I pin her down on the ground and sit on top of her. I would much rather restrain her and get it over in 5 seconds than mess with it for 5 minutes and make it a longer mess.
