I have a job!!!
Been laid off since first week of October. Excited to have an income again but sad I will no longer be home all the time with M. 
Any ideas on how to broach pumping? The owners are 2 males. It's a small place so no real HR department I think.

I just talked to my supervisor over the phone (less awkward). I told her that I would be pumping and would like to shift my breaks and lunch to accommodate about three pumping sessions. I didn't need a specific time but just three times during the day but I could be flexible for meetings and such.
We had a pumping room designated so I wasn't worried about that.

Congratulations! That's awesome. I would just tell them that you're a nursing mom and that you will need time to pump X number of times a day for X number of minutes. And that you will be sure to make the time up and factor that time into your hours, or however you plan to do it. I would think they would be accomodating, and then if they don't get it, you can talk about the rights you have by law..

Congratulations!!! I would talk to your new boss and let him/her know and figure out if there is a dedicated pumping room. You may need to talk to HR since they may know more.

Definitely check the laws first. If the company is small (under 50), you don't get the Fair Labor Standards Act, which states that businesses need to provide a place to and break times to pump. I would figure out how often you need to pump and what the time comes up to and work that into your schedule--either staying a little later or coming in a little earlier to making sure you use your lunchbreak to do so.

I like what @T-Mom said, except I would leave out the part about making up the time that you spend pumping.
