Our friends just had their third baby! They've got the baby gear down at this point... so I'm wondering what we could get them to celebrate their new arrival.
We've already offered babysitting of their older kids, but they have lots of family in the area so I'm pretty sure they won't take us up on that... any other ideas?

A friend gave us two gift cards, one for a restaurant that does delivery and one for a major drug store chain, and it was such a great present. They may have all the gear but there's always a need for takeout and children's tylenol.
Or maybe a book with a special inscription? For our Goddaughters, we got them each a big treasury book (Winnie the Pooh for one, Beatrix Potter for the other) and wrote them a special note "on their birth day" on the front page.

What about a baby memory book or sticker calendar? Thats something you need for each new kid?
For the parents though I would do a food gift card and maybe package it with a set of cute disposable plates and napkins.
