I'm trying to think of some gift ideas for my parents and my in-laws. We're due in March with the very first grandbaby on both sides of the family - so they're all very excited. I was hoping to get them a small keepsake gift like an ornament or something, but everything i can find online (pinterest, etc) is for already born babies... like handprints, birth stats, etc.
Any ideas?!

I'd give them a picture frame. You could put an ultrasound photo in it... or maybe get one of those double frames and put the ultrasound photo in one side and tell them you will add the second photo after LO is here!

I love it because that little caption at the bottom that says "Sneak Peak" with the u/s photo can be swapped out with 10 other messages like "it's a girl/boy," "first bath," "welcome home," "first steps," etc. So they can follow along with milestones in the first year! And they give you two blank caption cards too.

@loopedd: I like that frame! We had one that just said "Sneak Peek" and I gave it away because I felt weird having it up once my daughters were born and running around. I wish ours had been multipurpose

Books? We got the grandmas books about "grandma and me", etc. to start their collection on baby/kid stuff at their house. They were all really excited.

@PinkElephant: That's what I figured... the ultrasound novelty wears off when the baby is outside!
