I was looking at these online the other day and wondered if they were any good. DH peeked over my shoulder and his face was a picture!! He looked horrified!
How do they work - do they just work with your regular electric pump?

I loved mine when I was pumping so I could mess around on the computer, eat, ect!
@Cherrybee: Yes it works with your electric pump, you just stick the shields into the holes and it holds them both in place in place.

Omg I love mine so much! I never once pumped w/o it. If you plan on using a double pump, you MUST invest in one of these!

Yes, it is the best invention for pumping moms!! I was skeptical of how it worked but it holds it the flanges in place so well!

I've tried to tell people how essential they are. Maybe we need a guest post!
I pumped for one day without one and nearly died (I exclusively pump). I left it at my mom's house one day and tried to make my own with a sports bra. FAIL. i probably would have quit pumping without one.
And I am pumping and wearing mine right now... : )

Can you believe I went three whole months without a hands free pumping bra, and I was exclusively pumping? I blame being stingy and not wanting to invest anymore money into pumping not knowing whether or not I would continue for the long run (I did it for 13 months).

@travelingbrit: Get a Simple Wishes one. They are the best. In the hospital I pumped without one and couldn't believe how hard it was. This makes it so much easier to pump and do something else at the same time.

@travelingbrit: @highwire: It's funny. I actually ordered one on Amazon while I was still in the hospital. And then later that evening, a SAHM friend asked if I wanted hers for free since she didn't need it. I returned the one I had just bought!

Best invention ever!!! I didn't realize how awesome it was exactly until I forgot to bring it to work one day. I had to pump while holding the bottles the entire time and whenever I needed to adjust the settings in the beginning for letdown I had to balance one bottle on my thigh but just right so I didn't lose the suction connection. Lol

I pumped for 2 days and was going nuts with it already. I remembered a friend who said she "made" a pumping bra by cutting slits in a sports bra. I tried that last night and my life is already so much better! And it definitely didn't cost more than $5, especially since it was a bra I bought over a year ago.

Thanks for the tip on simple wishes. I just got my pump and have used it twice and I feel like such a dork using it and trying to hold up the flanges! I was wondering how the heck I was going to do it at work! Off to amazon!
