Do you prefer using hard or soft flanges when pumping? I normally use hard ones but ever so often use the soft ones. I think they hurt more than the hard ones.

My pump has hard flanges but they have a soft edge. I've never tried any other flange but I didnt see some really soft cushy display pumps at target the other day.

hard. the soft ones warp over time. i found the hard ones more comfortable and i've pumped a lot in my day!

I think Pumpin Pals is another soft flange as well. I don't mind the Medela hard ones.

I have soft for my Freestyle, but my hand pump has a hard flange. I find that the hard flange gets more out.

@prettylizy: I use a freestyle and have the hard and soft for it. I agree about hard getting more out.
@Mrsbells: Those look comfy. I wonder if they'd work with Medela?
