I have a tooth that's been bugging me forever. Even after getting a root canal and putting a crown over it.
My dentist says everything looks fine, but I have pain and it bothers me almost every day. I think it's causing sinus issues too.
Just wanna pull it out!

I have a tooth that has had numerous problems with it and the dr suggested they extract it and have an implant placed there. It was pretty pricey but I'm glad I don't have that weird looking tooth anymore.

I had four molars pulled before I got braces because my mouth was too small, but that's it. I hate tooth stuff

@chopsuey: that sounds exactly like my molar. I had it pulled and it is so much better since then. I'm going to get an implant soon. Since I have to take antibiotics I have to wait until I have weaned LO.

Yup, last year I had one tooth that was ruining my life. Got root canal and it still killed me, got it pulled. It wasn't pleasant and still have a big gap as implant is so expensive, but until I save up at least I'm pain free. Also it's at the back so noone can see it.

@chopsuey: that happened to me! When I would get a sinus infection it would kiiiiillll it would hurt so badly. I actually went back and asked for a new root canal assuming something must be wrong ane they said it looks great 
it stopped bugging me eventually. I do have a painful tooth on my other side that hurts constantly even though "nothing's wrong"
I had several pulled when I got braces.

@Foodnerd81: @Sammyfab: same. I had a bunch of adult and baby teeth pulled at the same time when I was a kid. Too many teeth, too small a mouth.
If you're having pain with a tooth with a crown, I would get a second opinion. My husband has a crown and bridge and was having trouble and got another dentist to look at it, and the original work wasn't very good. Once the second dentist fixed the work, it hasn't bothered my husband since!!

I didn't go to the dentist for years and ended up having a cavity that blew up and needed it pulled. It was my back molar so no one sees it. I didn't get an implant. It was so much better when it was gone!

Yep. Molars that were hurting even after root canal/crown. I'm so used to it now. Need to get an implant soon

What tooth is it? I haven't but I have a molar that bothers me so bad I can't eat cold foods now, like salads. And have to bring my teeth with warm water. It has a filling and I know it's going to need a root canal and crown and I'm afraid the same thing will happen. I can't afford implants for it.
I hope it gets better somehow. Tooth issues blow.

Ugh, I'm sorry you're going through this. When I have dental pains I can't concentrate on anything. About four years ago I had a permanent tooth pulled. It's toward the back so you can't see it, but there is a gap, so I should have an implant sometime because I don't want future problems. I just found out I'm going to have to have another tooth pulled. This is a molar all the way in the back, so I don't think I'll ever get an implant for that one.

@mediagirl: Thanks! 2nd to last on my top left side! I've told my dentist I wanna have it pulled out, but he says pulling it out will be a bigger pain. Because my teeth will shift, I'll need an implant and those aren't pleasant to get.. -.-
Tylenol takes care of the pain/discomfort, but I really don't wanna deal with this til I die! 
Ugh, hope your tooth doesn't cause the same problems!

@littlebug: yeah I had to get my wisdom teeth out too. Stupid small mouth and big teeth. I actually had an extra half a wisdom tooth- so four and a half total. At least I like the look of my big teeth now.

I might have to go through this soon, keeping my fingers crossed that it won't be necessary! I badly need a root canal and have the appointment booked for next week, but when the endodontist saw it (I have two teeth that need it, so this was during the appointment for the first one), he said that it may need to be pulled depending on how deep the decay goes I really don't want to deal with an implant or anything...although it is the very back tooth, so maybe it wouldn't be such a big deal? Not sure.

@chopsuey: that's the exact tooth I got pulled! I've had no problems with the possibility of getting an implant fitted. Don't live your life in pain. It's a place noone can see, I say get it out.

I've had 8 baby teeth, and 8 permanent teeth (4 molars and 4 wisdom) pulled in my day. My mouth was all sorts of messed up and I had a lot of dental work done when I was younger. I'm praying that DS inherited DH's mouth as I'm sure I wasn't cheap.
