We are officially ntnp, and just got thru my first disappointing cycle. Ugh. Brings back memories. I haven't done opks yet though, although I bought some so I can see what my cycle looks like. Was 54 days before this past one. Fun stuff.... Not.

Not me, but a friend got pregnant/had a DS via IUI 3 years ago and got preggo naturally (due to be induced March 20th!) with LO #2!

My sister got pregnant accidentally with my her first kid (she has PCOS and was told she'd never conceive naturally so she never used protection!), used fert. tx to conceive LO #2, and JUST found out she's pregnant with #3, who is another oops baby!

I voted yes although it's also not me I have a good friend who did a year of treatments and got pregnant with her first via IVF. She was 36-37? She's now 20 weeks pregnant with an 'oops' baby and her first is 18 months old.

I'm not voting because it doesn't apply to me, but my aunt did! She had her daughter, then had complications which led them to tell her she had to have IVF to ever conceive again. She had twin boys. They were trying to decide about doing IVF again (risk of twins, expense, etc) and not sure about a fourth and she got pregnant on her own! Crazy when they said no way would it ever happen! She's having a c-section in 13 days Oh, and her twins are STILL ONE! haha. I think like 20 months? And her daughter is 4. She's a saint!

My best friend did. She went through injectibles/IUI (she didn't ovulate on her own) and got pregnant, but miscarried. The next cycle, she got pregnant on her own when she wasn't supposed to be trying. She now has a healthy 3 month old : )

I voted yes for a friend who had miscarriages and fertility treatment, then had an oops baby several years later.

OH i wish I could vote again, I have a 2nd friend who also had an oops baby after they stopped trying post 1 failed IVF and one IVF success and miscarriage.

My very close friend and I started TTC together - her second, my first - she went through about 3 IUIs and finally got her baby through IVF, and on her first cycle ttc for her second, BAM pregnant. It's really crazy - she was all casual about it because she was so 100% positive that she would have to go for IVF again, but she wanted to give it a couple months of trying before. I was insanely happy for her.

Not me, but one of our family members adopted after they tried for several (>4) years without success. I know they did fertility treatments, but don’t know the extent, and then they went on to have 4 kids naturally after the adoption.

My SIL did. She went through a few rounds of fertility treatments before she was successful and eventually had her oldest. She went on to have two more kids without any intervention.

I voted yes also, but not for me. Hubby's aunt did IVF or IUI for their first child and got twins! They conceived their "second" child naturally.

My sister! She went through treatments after 3 miscarriages, and is now carrying her baby boy with no medical interference! They said it couldn't be done!

My friend. She had 1 failed IVF & her RE said he didn't think she would ever get PG. They decided to do a 2nd IVF and got PG with baby #1. 3 years later they decided to TTC naturally, just to see if they could. On their first cycle TTC for # 2, she got PG!

One of my friends is pregnant with #2 naturally (and somewhat of a surprise!). She was on clomid for a few cycle before she got #1, but only BD'd twice the month she got pregnant with #2 (super shocker for her!). Another friend did IUI for #1 and #2 came quickly after as a surprise (the girls are 15 months apart).

I voted other. I had 6 cycles of failed fertility treatment. I stopped and went on to adopt but I have had two pregnancies with no medical intervention since then.

@Mrs. Yoyo: congrats!!! I didn't know u were pregnant either! Yay!!!
Thx ladies, I feel better. We are so thankful we have 2 already. Can't ask for more, but would love to add just one more to the family. I know we just started ntnp, but after trying for 3 years or so, just feels like a continuation of that long ttc.... Yay for oopies! Haha.

I have a friend that used ivf to get her daughter. Now, she is pregnant naturally, with twins. They were shocked to say the least.

@Jennimac: wow! That is a shocker! So exciting though. I so so so love having twins!

@tequiero21: yes! I was like, "whoa! Surprise!" She said tell me about it. I also have another friend who had ivf for her first son and just a had a surprise second son without ivf.

My twin sister and I both did. We each adopted after failed IVFs- she did one and I did two. We have severe endo. My sis was pregnant within 4 months of bringing her son home. I had a successful FET 11 months after bringing our son home. When our second son was 18 months, we conceived naturally and very surprisingly.. Now, here we are with three sons.

My OB!!! Took years to get pregnant with her first, then BAM surprised with her second because she didn't think it was possible!!!
Kind of on that vein, I was on clomid, got pregnant on it, miscarried, went on it for a few more months, then went off it because we needed a break, and got pregnant the second month. Definitely didn't think it was possible! Doc said its more common than you think!

we were told we had ZERO chance of getting pregnant on our own, so i would be absolutely shocked if we ever got pregnant!
