Hellobee Boards

I've been, we loved it! It is just beautiful. We did an REI trip where you hike, bike or kayak each day, and without kids, so a fairly specific experience, but we generally found it to be a great place to travel, tourist-friendly, great food and drink, and relatively inexpensive. We started in Zagreb and made our way down to Plitvice, Novigrad, Skradin, Trogir, Ljubuski (in Bosnia), and then Dubrovnik. Zagreb was miss-able, but we loved Plitvice, Novigrad, and really every other place we stopped. If I had to pick one spot though, it would certainly be Dubrovnik. Very cool city, if increasingly touristy.

Yes, while touring through Eastern Europe! We were only able to get to Split, but loved it! We wanted to see much more, so hopefully will someday go back.

I haven't but my brother-in-law just went and he loved it. I would consider going at some point in the future. I randomly knew a lot of Croatians in high school and they were lovely gracious people.
